About Gough & Davy

Gough & Davy was established as a music
retailer some time in 1860 and soon became a
market leader in providing the latest musical
instruments and music at the time.

The business flourished all through the Victorian
era and on into the 20th. century. During the
next hundred years the name Gough & Davy
became synonymous with music lovers, not only
in Hull but the whole country.

Now in the 21st. century the company has
recently been re-establsihed in a brand new
premises 'Under the City Hall' and is still owned
and managed by Hull's own Alan Kilvington.

At Gough & Davy we take our heritage very
seriously and endeavour to provide the
exceptional level of service that has become a
standard with any purchase from us.

We have a team of technicians and tuners who
look after our instruments and yours. Our staff
personally construct every digital piano and
inspect it before delivery. This ensures that
every customer who comes through our doors,
real or online, will want to come back with their
friends and family to show them
